Budvar.tv breaks new ground

Redesign and new content also the project Budvar.tv, whose mission is to present the popular brand as a beer excelling with its taste and quality. And as is the custom, www.budvar.tv takes the bull by the horns. Well, not literally, so don’t look for any bulls running round the web. Still, users will be able to get to know the popular drink in a very unconventional way and in fact in depth.

WDF – Web Design Factory has developed for its client Budějovický Budvar, n.p. a unique multiplayer game, Beer Depth, based on what is already well-known and popular collecting of virtual Buddies. The change to the multiplayer game for more users is an appealing extension of very popular Flash games. The concept of the game lies in exploration, linked to the main idea of the yearlong campaign of Budějovický Budvar. The playful visuals of the web complements the main competition Find in the Taste 30 Emotions and many other Flash games, usually on ice hockey themes. Virtual Buddies can be bet on the results of the last Ice Hockey World Championship. This is no surprise as Budvar is the official beer of Czech ice hockey. As an emphasis on interpersonal communication and experience permeates the whole web, there is naturally a chat room and discussion forum. Users have at their disposal photo albums, lists of pubs, and desktop backgrounds for download. This is the fourth year of the cooperation between WDF – Web Design Factory – and Budějovický Budvar on the project Budvar.tv.
