Staropramen has come up with a method, which enables it to effectively communicate with its target group and which is still not very widely used in our country. At the website www.zijesjenjednou.cz, it launched a new interactive project known as micro-blogging. This new generation of blogging has already become popular abroad. It makes it possible to forward the users’ posts immediately to other friends, even to their mobile phones.

Communities of friends are formed at the Web, who continually input posts on the topic of “What you have just done differently”. All the registered users are thus immediately informed about what is new in the lives of their friends. The attractiveness of the service consists in that it is also possible to input and receive messages by using SMS so the users can use the service whenever something remarkable happens to them. “Do things differently, avoid stereotype. That is the key message, the life outlook of the Staropramen brand. The whole project captured our interest with its unconventional approach to marketing communication on the Internet right in the beginning. We do not irritate with standard banners; we provide consumers with a service that will enable them to communicate with their friends better than before,” Daniel Musialek, the Staropramen brand manager, comments on the launched project.
